Weldcote E309LT1-1 is a flux-cored welding wire designed for joining 22% Cr 12% Ni stainless steel (AISI 309S), 18% Cr 8% Ni stainless clad steel, and dissimilar materials such as Cr-Mo or mild steel to stainless steel. It is also well suited for build-up welding on carbon steel. The E309LT1-1/4 wire supports welding in flat, horizontal fillet, and vertical up or down positions using CO2 or Ar-CO2 shielding gas mixtures (75% Ar / 25% CO2). It delivers excellent usability with a stable arc, minimal spatter, and smooth, visually appealing bead appearance. For mechanized horizontal fillet welding, this wire is an outstanding choice, offering superior wire feeding characteristics and high deposition efficiency to maximize productivity
