Hospital Beds
|
The O.E. Meyer Co. offers a full line of
hospital beds to meet the individual’s needs in
the home setting. |
|
 |
Manual Beds offer the same features
as electric beds in terms of the upper body,
knee, and bed height adjustments. The
adjustments are made by manually turning cranks
at the foot of the bed. |
|
 |
Semi-Electric Beds
combine motorized control of the upper body and
knees with the manual bed height adjustment.
The upper body and knees are adjusted by
touching the buttons on the control pendant.
The bed height is adjusted by manually turning a
crank. |
|
 |
Full Electric Beds are
controlled entirely by an electric motor. All
upper body, knee, and bed height adjustments are
made by touching the buttons on the control
pendant. |
|
 |
The Bariatric Bed has
a heavy-duty frame designed for individuals
weighing up to 600 pounds. Upper body, knee, and
bed height adjustments are made by touching the
buttons on the control pendant. |

Mattresses & Overlays. Patient
comfort and prevention of skin breakdown is of
the utmost importance. For that reason the O.E.
Meyer Co offers a wide range of mattresses, bed
overlays, and therapeutic support surfaces to
meet the needs of all patients. |

Transferring
dependent patients from bed to a chair or vice
versa can pose a challenge. Patient lifts are
often required to accomplish this task. We carry
both Electric and Hydraulic Lifts with
weight capacities ranging from 450-600 pounds.
Along with the lift itself we offer several
different types of slings in which the patients
are lifted during transfers. |
|
|
 |
A Trapeze offers
patients assistance in repositioning themselves
in bed along with transferring in and out of bed
without the assistance of another person. Our
trapezes offer multiple height adjustments and
hand bar positions to maximize patient
accessibility. |
|
|
 |
We offer both Full-length
and Half-length Bedrails. Bedrail safety is
greatly increased by the reduced gap design of
the bedrails we offer. This significantly
reduces the entrapment hazards associated with
traditional bedrails. |
