O.E. Meyer Co. is a full-service supplier of specialty gases. Our product line features a wide range of gases including cryogenic and non-cryogenic products. Typical stock items include nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, argon, helium in varying purities. We also offer an extensive list of medical gases, electronic gases, and rare and special gases. Our product line of specialty gases is comprised of two main groups: 1.) Pure specialty gases and 2.) Mixed (standard or custom) gases.

Specialty Gases Filling and Analysis

Our gases lab contains modern analytical equipment that gives our technicians the ability to analyze products for contaminants in the parts-per-million (PPM) range. We offer a number of 99.9999% pure gases along with a broad range of standard and custom specialty gases mixtures. Advanced production techniques enable us to supply you with rare and specialty gases that meet the highest standards. We can ensure consistent pure gases by controlling the filling process from start to finish. Prior to filling cylinders, our professional technicians prepare and test each container to detect and eliminate any contaminants. The containers are then filled using fast-fill cryogenic pumps. Using multiple analytic test points through the filling process, our products must pass several purity requirements before they reach the containers and our customers. Our plant is registered with the FDA and complies with ISO 9001. We strive to exceed customer expectations with every batch of gases manufactured, filled and delivered.

Specialty Gases Uses

Special gases are required for a number of applications including environmental testing, EPA protocols, safety and hygiene, automotive testing, and lasers. Our special gases can be used as carrier and support gases for Discharge Ionication Detectors (DID), Electron Capture Detectors (ECD), Flame Ionization Detectors (FID), Flame Photometric Detectors (FPD), Helium Ionization Detectors (HECD), Mass Spectrometers (MSD), Photoionization Detectors (PID), Thermal Conductivity Detectors (TCD), Ultrasonic Detectors (USD) and many other applications.
